Church Administration & Growth Major: Program Overview
The Bachelor of Theology (Th.B.) in Church Growth & Administration is a 120-credit undergraduate program that builds upon the 75-credit Graduate of Theology (Th.G.) foundation with 45 additional credits of advanced instruction in biblical leadership, strategic planning, church health, and administrative practices. Designed for students preparing for leadership in the local church, this program combines theological depth with practical ministry training grounded in Baptist ecclesiology.
Students will explore how to cultivate healthy, growing churches through biblical models of leadership, organizational development, discipleship systems, and evangelistic outreach. The curriculum emphasizes stewardship, leadership ethics, conflict resolution, vision casting, and administration of ministry programs. Students will also complete a senior capstone project applying their learning to a real-world ministry challenge.
Ideal for pastors, church leaders, and administrators, this program equips students to lead with integrity, manage church operations effectively, and foster sustainable growth in a variety of ministry contexts.
