The Bachelor of Ministry is the final two years of the student’s undergraduate study. Students may receive advanced standing in the program through transfer credits, and in instances where the student is well-qualified, through lifetime credits. The program prepares the student for the Master of Ministry programs, the Master of Biblical Studies programs, the Master of Divinity programs, or the Master of Theology program.
The B.Min. program consists of training in key Bible books, key doctrines, and foundational ministry preparation courses. Students also will complete Level 1 Certification through the Association of Biblical Counselors, a quality organization that is well-recognized and received throughout the Christian world. Students will receive instruction from professors such as Dr. Jimmy Hayes, president of ATS, and Dr. James Gibson, a perennial favorite professor at ATS for many, many years. Most courses will involve traditional final exams.
The Bachelor of Ministry program is an advance-at-your-own-pace program. Most students will complete the program in less than two years. Students are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA in order to advance into the ATS graduate programs. Upon completion of the B.Min. program, the student is eligible to enroll directly into the ATS School of Pastoral Studies graduate programs.
